Our volunteer advocates provide the crucial service of answering our 24-hour crisis hotline. Crisis line volunteers must complete our 30 hour initial training. This training is required in order to uphold the confidentiality requirements of this work in addition to fostering the skills needed to provide effective advocacy.
Our volunteer Advocates need access to safe/ reliable transportation, a phone, and a quiet place to take calls without interruptions.
Our comprehensive training is FREE of charge to those who commit to volunteering 2 shifts per month for 1 year.
